My well-established national client has 30 depots, employs 2500 members of staff, completes 400,000 deliveries per year and owns over 4,000 trucks. Due to expansion and progression, they are seeking a trainee operator to join their Milton Keynes Team.

Your role will be to work alongside the transport operations team learning all aspects of the operation including briefing and debriefing drivers, route planning, compliance, health & safety and delivering a first-class service to a range of national / international clients.

Working in a fast-paced environment you must be able to work under pressure, able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.

My client operates 24/7 and whilst this role is initially Monday – Friday 07.00 – 17.00 there will be a requirement to work bank holidays and occasional weekends with the ability to move to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern in the future.
