Our client, a leading provider of agricultural logistics and supply chain services located just outside of Brackley, is seeking a *** Stores / Warehouse Operative with Admin Support *** to join their team.

Working alongside the Depot Manager, this varied and rewarding role will be to support the logistics warehousing and distribution function on a day-to-day basis. Meeting long term strategies, together with ensuring a first-class warehouse and distribution service to customers. Responsibilities include:

* Managing the day-to-day stores functions

* Performing day to day warehousing and forklift functions, from goods-in and dispatch.

* Picking and packing products with a high level of accuracy.

* Loading and unloading both company and supplier vehicles as required.

* Ensuring correct stock rotation, carrying out stock checks, investigation and reconciling stock differences.

* Order-entry, booking in stock, shipping and receipting and basic route planning.

* Completing timesheets for authorisation and vehicle defect reports.

* Answer the Depot’s telephone as and when necessary.

* Supporting customers both over the telephone and in person with orders.

* Working in line with statutory / governing regulations.

This is a varied hands-on role, speaking with customers, taking and processing orders, picking and packing products onto pallets. Candidates will have experience of using a forklift and ideally have a current licence (counterbalance), however our client will train or refresh expired licences, or convert other licences held (i.e., reach truck or tele-handler for example).

This role will become particularly busy in the spring / summer months, requiring overtime to be worked at up to £18 per hour. Quieter periods are in the winter months when our client has been known to ‘job and finish’ early (down to their discretion). Candidates will need their own transport due to our client’s location.
