An exciting new opportunity for a Stock, Systems & Administration Manager has arisen at our Milton Keynes site.
The role is to provide accurate and timely Management Information on Stock holding to the business and the customer across all elements of the business. To ensure the completeness of data and integrity of the Information provided. To manage the Stock, Systems & Admin department and ensure it is functioning efficiently and effectively to the requirements of the business and to manage a team that supports the warehouse, by maintaining accurate stock levels, including monitoring stock movement within the site.
In this role you are accountable for:
Managing all aspects of the customers stock from receipt through to point of despatch
Establishing effective relationships with multiple customer stakeholders
Managing the most efficient flow of all types of merchandise through varying storage locations including the identification of the most appropriate storage media.
Be aware of the full spectrum of relevant contractual requirements of the business and able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the varied commercial and operating environment of both the business and client.
Ensure the recall and reverse flow operations operate efficiently and with minimal impact to stock loss.
Demonstrate an ability to manage across multiple WMS and operating systems to include but not limited to JDA and Metapack.
Accurately write and maintain a wide range of differing SOPs for all main inventory control processes and functions.
To plan organise and lead monthly bi annual/annual stock audits.
Produce reports both internally and externally.
To ensure high value and theft sensitive merchandise is stored and handled appropriately.
Apply appropriate technical knowledge and skill to contribute to an efficient Admin operation, including picking, put-away, PI, loading, unloading, dispatch.
Ensure the various nominated representatives of the customer are informed of queries on compliance levels and rework requirements, communicating these out to the operations team.
Manage their team in regards to the booking in of inbound goods, and despatch via a variety of Nominated Carriers, within multiple operational windows.
Manage the daily pick face population in line with requirements.
Organising perpetual inventory checks.
Planning and managing continual cycle counting in line with customer’s insurance requirements.
Capacity planning for seasonal changes across the differing retail streams.
Producing accurate reports for senior management and customer on a daily, weekly and periodical basis.
Ensure all direct reports are motivated, competent and trained to carry out the duties and tasks assigned to them, and encourage training and development where required.
Maintain proper employee records for direct reports
Provide support to the Operations Managers on all stock matters relating to the contract
To support the General Manager to help promote the development of the operation. Required skills, knowledge and experience:
Business Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Ability to interact and engage staff at all levels
Ability to drive continuous improvement with a can do attitude
Knowledge of JDA Warehouse Systems
Experience:
Previous stock management experience
Experience of managing an E-fulfilment fashion retail operation
Business Skills:
Ability to create & deliver presentations to both customers & senior teams
Ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level
Knowledge of fashion & electrical returns process
Level 4/5 ILM or similar qualification
Managing teams of people
