Inventory Controller Required
Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
£24000/25000
Responsibility:
* Maintain and update inventory levels
* Checking pick face stock levels and ensuring stock is replenished consistently.
* Implementing inventory procedures
* Reporting on any stock Discrepancies to Management
* Moving Stock with Forklift.
* Maximsining inventory storage Space.
* Working through all Shorts and Overs in the DC.
* Investigating customer claims by doing and inventory stock check.
* Weekly empty bin location reports are carried out.
* Ensuring that all stock is stored correctly and in the correct locations.
* Work with shift Manager to optimize the bulk locations.
* Inventory control on the WMS system.
Quality:
* All damaged stock in the racking is removed.
* Ensure that all new products received Foot Print Data is correct and pick faces are assigned.
* Ensuring Daily stock counts are being performed in line with requirements.

* Demonstrates initiative in day to day tasks and ensures that any areas of concern that may be detrimental to the performance of DC are identified to your immediate line manager.

Attendance and timekeeping:
* Arrives in sufficient time to participate in an effective shift hand-over.

Skills & Experience:
* Self-motivated & priority driven.
* PC literate – to intermediate level.
* Working knowledge of multi shipment type of customers
* Experience of working in a fast pace DC environment
* Understanding of Health and Safety practices within the DC
Working knowledge of WMS & SAP system
