STOCK CONTROLLER
Permanent Position
Salary: £27,800 to £33,200 plus Bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm)
Location: Milton Keynes
An exciting position has arisen for a Stock Controller to join their successful team. As Stock Controller you will work alongside the Logistics & Customer Service teams. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, creative and self-managing. You must have a good eye for accuracy and detail, be consistent, adaptable, friendly, enthusiastic, methodical, confident and passionate. The successful candidate will be a great team player and experienced in building strong relationships with both customers and colleagues alike.
What will you be doing?
* Managing and controlling perpetual inventory stock counting/inventory accuracy checks
* Managing and maintain the company’s material and stocked product inventory including stock profiles and stock locations
* Effective replenishment of stock from suppliers for both UK and Ireland operations.
* Tracking inbound and outbound orders to prevent overstocking and out-of-stock (OOS)
* Liaising with internal departments to maintain inventory accuracy, standard procedures, controls, practices and systems.
* Collaborate with the Warehouse, & Customer Service teams to help manage delivery schedules ensuring that incoming deliveries are effectively planned, managed and communicated in a timely and effective manner to ensure optimal resource/work scheduling.
* Coordinating the logistics of purchase orders, stock transfers and deliveries.
* Assist with weekly Inventory Cycle Counts and required adjustments as a result of these.
* Help investigate root course of discrepancies and liaise with warehouse to help improve accuracy.
* Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
Essential skills
* SAP experience (12 months)
* GCSE Maths and English
* Excel Intermediate skills
* Office 365 experience
* Good organisational skills
