Specifications Technologist

Working in a Chilled environment

·Responsible for coordinating all information for new product specifications and transferring data into specific customer formats, including major retailer specifications software;

·Responsible for team coordinating;

·Managing and creating internal product specifications;

·Ensuring product compliance is kept up to date in line with current legislation/regulation;

Responsible for technical sign off for packaging, involving checking artwork against specification through several stages

·Managing critical path for specification deadline and ensuring that specification information all correct and up to date for launch;

·Maintaining and updating specifications when information is updated or when specification need reviewing;

·Completing quality attribute sheets and any other technical documentation required;

·Managing the annual nutritional testing schedule for each product category;

·Liaising with suppliers to obtain all relevant information (CoA, CoC);

·Approving new suppliers and raw materials;

·Responsibility for Food Safety, Legality and Quality.

Hours 9.00 am to 7.00 pm
