The Role – Import Export Coordinator
As an Import Export Coordinator, you’ll be coordinating and controlling the dispatch and receival of goods in line with regulations, becoming the main contact for customs audit / customs control over the telephone, providing excellent customer service. Your duties will include:
* Providing import and export instructions to a selected broker
* Checking freight and brokerage invoices
* Checking declarations and ensuring follow up of modifications, ensuring regulatory monitoring
* Liaising with customers, PV entities, customs authorities to address any questions regarding customs or transport activities
* Classifying the products with the correct codes, inputting data to / maintaining our software system
* Negotiating specific customs procedures and authorisations with the customs authorities
* Providing administrative support to the Office Manager and Sales Team, e.g., preparing invoices, liaising with airlines
The Package
* Salary in the region of £28,000 to £35,000, potentially negotiable with the level dependent on experience
* Permanent contract, working full time hours Monday to Thursday 8:45am to 5pm and 8:45am to 4:30pm on Friday with some flexibility available to suit your personal life
* Option to work from home, or combine this with working from either of our offices in Livingston (Scotland) or Milton Keynes whichever you prefer, although you will be required to make short travel visits to the offices certainly during the first three months

Our Requirements – Import Export Coordinator
* Experience gained in a similar role within a logistics, import export, or road transport environment
* Knowledge of customs handling or customs declarations, with understanding of relevant commodity codes and legislation
* Good computer skills, with ability to use ERP software
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a friendly and solutions-focused approach
* Eligible to work within the UK
