HGV Class 2 Driver (s) Wanted – Ongoing Contract Monday to Friday.

Driver Hire Slough are part of a network of over 100 offices nationwide and are the UK’s largest specialist transport and logistics Recruitment Company. We offer temporary and permanent driving jobs, non-driving work and Driver CPC training.

Driver Hire Slough work very closely with leading suppliers of Access Platform and Plant Machinery in the South East and we are currently looking for a number of HGV Class 2 drivers to work on an ongoing basis out of their sites located in Slough and Taplow.

Ideally you would have experience of delivering / collecting Access Platforms, Plant Equipment and securing loads with chains. Delivery / Collection locations include London and all home counties.

Company Requirements:

HGV Class 2 (Category C) Entitlement held for minimum of 24 months

At least 12 months driving experience in an HGV Class 2 vehicle

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver Qualification (CPC) Card

Maximum 6 points on licence – DR, DD or IN conviction codes will not be accepted

Access Platform / Plant experience – essential

IPAF Card beneficial

Working week is Monday to Friday, starting at 06:00 and finishing around 16:00 (on average).

We are offering the following rates of pay*:

£14.00 per hour Days (06:00 to 18:00) Monday to Friday.
£16.00 per hour Overtime (after 40 hours)

*Rates shown are via Umbrella Payroll Company or Limited Company. We also have PAYE options, please ask if you are interested.
