D Wyatt & Sons is a well-respected haulage company based near Aylesbury. This work is consistent i.e. it is a full time, permanent job and is paid weekly.

The Role – Class 1 Cat C+E HGV Driver:

This Articulated HGV Driver role involves travelling medium to long distances to carry out deliveries in a timely and safe manner, handling customer’s property respectfully. This role also involves:

Some early starts, nights out occasionally
Job and finish
Drivers mate supplied with handball work
Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and comply with legal requirements, reporting issues to your support team
Ensuring the safety and security of the vehicles
Complying with Safe Loading and Health and Safety Laws at all times
Communicating with external customers and liaise with internal customers where appropriate
Updating records accurately
Performing vehicle condition checks and recording any visible damage
Must be aware of London rules
Good use of straps
Workwear supplied
Paid weekly

Requirements for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

Must hold Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
Experience driving an Artic lorry
Full UK driving licence, no more than 3 points
Knowledge of load security
Physically fit and able to undertake physical tasks
Good time management is essential
Up to date CPC preferred
Dedicated and self-sufficient
