We are reaching out for professional HGV2 (C) drivers for an internationally recognised distributor who are recession proof. This is a tremendous opportunity for drivers who are looking for good career prospects with stability, a state-of-the-art vehicle fleet in a vibrant part of Milton Keynes.

You will need to be available for an initial assessment before starting work with the company.

Criteria:

* Start times are primarily 05:30 in the morning.

* 8 hours minimum pay

* Weekend work available with excellent pay uplifts

Requirements:

· All relevant UK HGV driving qualifications which include CPC and digi taco

· Previous assessment history

· Prepared to travel to Milton Keynes

· Flexibility in working hours

· Flexibility for weekend work

· Minimum 6 months experience working with HGV2

· Courteous and professional once engaging with customers

· Ability to problem solve and react to physically and mentally challenging situations

· Excellent understanding of tachograph laws including EU driver hour regulations

· Ability to prioritise work and manage unforeseen circumstances

· Being polite, professional and good handling of customer complaints/issues

· Our client prides themselves on customer satisfaction, therefore drivers must comply with customer requests and be willing to go the extra mile to complete

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills, and basic maths

· Knowledge of telematics and economical driving, driver must also comply with all Health and safety regulations

· Work closely with management team to ensure and maintain delivery disciplines

· Good understanding of major road networks around London, including health and safety aspects at the premises

· Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching and/or lifting in line with H&S regulations
