Health & Household Stock Operator Role
D&D Corporation Ltd is currently recruiting for the position of Health and household stock operator for our e-commerce business within the SL2 area. We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, honest and hard-working person who is well organised and has excellent stock management and co-ordinating skills. This key role within the company requires the candidate to possess the ability to work autonomously receiving deliveries accurately check the stock and efficiently placing stock at the appropriate space withing the warehouse. As the role is focused on Health care and household branded products, the successful candidate must have the ability to think logically to mange and rotate stock, excellent fitness level, a forward planning mindset, a good fitness level. Excellent at packing products, and building layers on pallets for our e commerce business.
Responsibilities:
Understand Health and household branded product portfolio.
Sort products by category
Placement of most popular products at the ideal place in the warehouse.
Accept deliveries from suppliers and count and check condition of goods received.
Segregate, record and maintain stock levels.
Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely.
Ability to drive electric pallet truck and fork lift (however training will be given).
Make parcels to be dispatched from sales generated from various online platforms.
Build pallets, stack pallets, shrink wrap and ensure ready for collection on time.
Maintain the stock room neat and tidy at all times.
Bring stock from various locations within the warehouse to be packed.
Meet weekly Key Performance indicators in relation to accuracy, stock levels, tidiness and shipment of parcels.
The successful Stock co-ordinator’s focus is to manage stock to boost sales on Ebay and Amazon therefore the key requirements are:
Good level of eduction minimum A levels.
Minimum one to two years desirable experience in stock management.
Ability to drive electric pallet truck and fork lift. (Training will be provided).
Has ability to think forward and plan ahead in order to manage stock within the limited space.
Honest, Hard Working, Organised and the ability to work autonomously.
Mature approach to work and keeping health and safety in mind at all times.
The candidate should possess analytical skills in order to record stock and knowledge of stock on hand at all times.
Physically fit: The role requires lifting and movement of stock therefore a reasonable level of fitness is required.
Possess good level of common sense, confident communicator with excellent manners.
Positive mental attitude.
Start to finish work ethic.
Willing to Learn, Grow and Achieve Results.
The hours of work are 08:45-17:30 with 45 minuutes luch break and 15 minutes for a tea break. however from time to time you will be expected to stay late to complete the task in hand. Monday – Friday are the normal hours of work and you will be expected to work on either Saturday 09:00-16:00 or Sunday 09:00-15:00 on rotation.
Extra Salary will be paid for Saturdays/Sundays on a pro rata basis.
The salary is £20-£23K per annum depending upon experience. Please apply online to be considered
