Job Description: Health & Household Stock Controller
D&D Corporation Ltd is currently recruiting for the position of Health and household stock Controller for our e-commerce business within the SL2 5 area. We are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious, honest and hard-working person who is well organised and has excellent stock management and co-ordinating skills. This key role within the company requires the candidate to possess the ability to work autonomously receiving deliveries accurately check stock levels and efficiently placing stock at the appropriate space withing the warehouse. As the role is focused on Health care and household branded products, the successful candidate must have the ability to think logically, plan ahead of time and an all hands on deck attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand Health & Beauty and household branded product portfolio.
Sort products by category
Maximise utilisation of warehouse space in a logical manner.
Accept deliveries from suppliers and count and check condition of goods received.
Segregate, record and maintain stock levels on a daily basis.
Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely at designated place.
Load pallets on/off delivery trucks on a daily basis.
In future willing to learn to drive fork lift (however training will be given).
Package products to be dispatched from sales generated from various online platforms.
Build and stack pallets with shipments. Shrink wrap pallets and ensure ready for collection on time.
Maintain the stock room neat and tidy at all times.
Bring stock from various locations within the warehouse to be packed.
Meet weekly Key Performance indicators in relation to accuracy, stock levels, tidiness and shipment of parcels.
Daily updates to the Managing Director regarding stock requirements.
At times, you will be expected to be flexible with working hours if there is increased pressure with deadlines.
The successful candidates focus is to manage stock to boost sales on Ebay and Amazon platforms therefore the key requirements are:
Good level of eduction – minimum A levels.
Minimum one to two years desirable experience in stock management area (Desirable).
Ability to drive electric pallet truck and fork lift. (Training will be provided).
Has ability to think forward and plan ahead in order to manage stock within the limited space available.
Honest, Hard Working, Organised and the ability to work autonomously.
Mature approach to work and keeping health and safety in mind at all times.
Proficient Analytical & Problem Solving Skills.
Physically fit: The role requires lifting and movement of stock therefore a reasonable level of fitness is required.
Possess good level of common sense, ability to think logically and a confident communicator with excellent manners.
Positive mental attitude.
Start to finish work ethic
Commitment to the role that is not limited to the normal working hours.
Willing to Learn, Grow and Achieve Results.
The hours of work are 08:45am-17:30pm with 45 minuutes lunch break and 15 minutes for a tea break. however from time to time you will be expected to stay late to complete the task in hand. The business is operational 7 days a week however the candidate will be required to work on Saturday or Sunday dependent upon the rota. You will be paid extra for the hours worked over the weekend.
