Hazlemere Group have an exciting opportunity for a Goods In Operative to join the team.

Location: High Wycombe

Salary: Competitive

Goods In Operative – Key Responsibilities:

The main role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

– Goods Inwards – Materials, Glass, Accessories

– Picking fitters trollies

– Returns

– Associated documentation

– Ensure that a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times

– Management of the picking, packing, and loading of all goods outwards

– Ensure all relevant company documentation is completed and records maintained in accordance with the company’s procedures

– Ensure all delivery vehicles are loaded/unloaded in a timely fashion

-Ensure all vehicles are loaded in the best way to utilise the available capacity

– Ensure all deliveries are checked and complete on despatch

– Ensure all delivery documentation is finalised and issued

– Maintain register of all delivery notes issued and maintain records of the signed returned delivery notes

– Upkeep of the returned goods procedure

– Liaise with other departments with regard to labour resource, providing resource to other departments where required as may be necessary from time to time

– Attend meetings as required to report on the operational status of the department

– Support other members of the team in achieving their objectives

– Liaise with all departments to ensure that the company’s requirements are fulfilled

– Provide cover for other members of staff as may be required from time to time

– Be proactive with regards to continuous improvement and provide feedback on ways to improve the performance of the department and interfaces with it
