Pertemps Recruitment are looking for a Forklift Reach Truck Driver to be part of the operational team, based at our brand new Distribution Centre in Fenny Lock, Milton Keynes.

This is a temporary position with permanent opportunities, paid weekly and will require working either:

Rotational 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 shifts – 5 days out of 7

Nights 22:00-06:00 shift

Pay Rates:

* Days £10.58

* Nights £13.22

* Weekend £13.22

* Bank Holiday £15.87

* Overtime 37.5 hours £15.57 days

* Overtime 37.5 hours £18.51 nights

The main responsibilities of the Forklift Reach Truck role include:

* Driving Reach Trucks

* Receiving and checking of goods inwards

* Despatching and checking goods outward

* Replenishment of stock

* Checking & reporting damaged stock

* Ensuring warehouses/yards are maintained and presentable on a daily basis

* Maintaining stock areas, ensuring all stock is stored/secured in the correct location

* Completing regular checks on forklift trucks

* General health and safety management

* Carrying out any reasonable requests made by the management team.

A Reach Truck licence is required for this role.

Ideal candidates will also be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience and knowledge of a warehouse environment

* Highly organised and capable of performing tasks to a very high standard

* Attention to detail & excellent levels of accuracy

* Excellent housekeeping skills

* A good team player with initiative

* Good communication skills

* Driven with a positive “can do” attitude
