GXO are looking for you to be their next Engagement Champion. You will work closely with our client, Waitrose at their new site in Magna Park, Milton Keynes. You will organise fundraising, team building, CSR and colleague engagement activities. You will also build and provide links into local communities, engaging schools and charitable organisations whilst promoting Waitrose & GXO’s reputation. Your aim is to create a sustainable community relationship which in turn creates Waitrose Contracts into great sites to work for colleagues

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £24,000.00 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

* Work with the HR team to identify events to be held on and off site both charity and social related, with a fun element

* Be flexible to plan, coordinate and participate in events held on and off sites for the Waitrose Contract

* Collaborate with Waitrose and GXO to build long term community partnerships enhancing the reputation of being a ‘great place to work’

* Chair and hold regular meetings with the onsite engagement champions to get their participation and support in all events and activities and assist in coordinating these events

What you need to succeed at GXO:

* Be a real people person with a flexible attitude and approach

* Experience in planning events, working with a budget and under pressure using your own initiative

* Strong planning organisation skills with a creative streak

* Reliable, honest and committed along with a professional approach
