The role: Credit Controller
We are looking for a Credit Controller for one of our long-established reputable waste management Client based in High Wycombe. The successful candidate would be involved in all aspects of credit control. You would be part of a team of 3 people reporting to the Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Nominated ledger of customers to be managed within their payment terms.
• Liaising with customers and monitoring customer accounts.
• Working with Sage accounting computer software package.
• Filing and document management.
• Undertaking small projects.
• Set up of new customers.
• Answering phones and handling payment requests/queries/enquiries.
• Various ad-hoc tasks as deemed necessary.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
• Sage accounting software – experience preferred but not essential.
• Ability to manage own workload effectively and efficiently.
• Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise workload.
• Ability to independently problem solve.
• Ability to meet to strict deadlines. • Ensuring that all invoice queries are resolved sufficiently within the required timescale.
• Ensuring that customer accounts are managed within their credit terms.
• All calls are answered in helpful and professional way within the specified time scale.
• Problem solving, and negotiation skills to effectively manage customers enquiries, requests, complaints.

Hours of Work: 8.30am to 5.00pm with 30 mins lunch break
Salary: £24k – £26k per annum depending on experience
