StaffCo Direct are actively recruiting for ten Class 1 drivers for one of our established Clients based in Milton Keynes.

We are looking for highly motivated, flexible drivers who are able to take on the company’s ethos and assist us in the support of our client’s busy operation.

The Job:

The role will involve trailer swaps deliveries
Completing traction work   
Long distance trunking
Very clean work
You will be responsible for making sure all delivery logs are signed and accounted for and the role will require you to be well presented, polite, courteous and professional at all times.

What we offer:

– Hourly Rate day £17.00 per hour (days)

– £18.00 per hour (nights)

– £19.00 per hour (saturday)

-£20.00 per hour (sunday)

– Monday to Sunday operation

– Day start times 04.30am – 07.00am 

– Night start times 17.00pm to 20.00pm

– Average shift length 10-12 hours +

– Weekly pay

What we are looking for:

– HGV 1/LGV 1 UK issued License is required.

– 2+ years UK experience on Class 1

– Previous traction experience.

– Problem solving skills.

– Current and Valid CPC and DIGI TACHO.

– No more than 6 penalty points (no IN DR or DD codes).

– Excellent level of English.

– Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

– Understanding of telematics and tacho data.

– Good Timekeeping

– Customer care focused

– Well-presented and physically fit. 

– Pro-active and good time management skills
