Business Development Manager – Intralogistics
Quantum are currently exclusively representing a leading, global supplier of automated materials handling systems across multiple industry sectors including intralogistics, airports and automotive who are now seeking a senior and experienced Business Development Manager to have complete sales responsibility for UK & Ireland and scale a team around them.
Location: flexible – home office with a weekly visit to Milton Keynes required
Requirements:
* Ability to demonstrate a complex, consultative solution sales background.
* Demonstrated background in intralogistics system sales.
* Professional, detail orientated approach to creating customer documentation.
* Preference of a technical education (Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) or prior experience in a technically orientated position to promote a slicker sales process negating the need of an accompanying sales engineer during RFQ/RFP stage.
* Experience in managing a full sales cycle from quotation to close.
* Experience with organising events, presentations and participation at trade shows.
* Ability to demonstrate being able to work individually and within a supporting team environment.
* Comfortable involve in order values in the region of average €500k – €5m, but able to manage > 10m as well
* Exposed to average sales cycles 6m+
