8 hours guaranted per day, with overtime rate payable after 8 hours at time & a half
Hours: 6am start Weekdays
Job Description:
HGMS have the sole contract to supply the UK's leading building distribution company with relief drivers. We have an exciting opportunity as an experienced multi drop van driver to work on a regular contract delivering bathroom and plumbing products to customers usually driving a “Luton” vehicle in a wide geographical area.
Required
·3.5t licence with a minimum of 6 months’ commercial van delivery driving experience gained within the past year
·No more than 6 points on your licence (No DR's IN's or TT's)
·Recent multi drop experience
·Physically fit with the ability to off load some heavy items
·Experience of delivering bathroom supplies advantageous.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
·To provide excellent customer service to both the public and customers
·Multi drop delivery of building and bathroom materials and supplies
·To carry out vehicle defect reports and associated paperwork
·Be compliant with Health and Safety, and any other related legislation, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.
·Good communication skills with the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
·Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering 1st class customer service.
