Our client is the UK's largest university, a world leader in flexible part-time education combining a mission to widen access to higher education with research excellence, transforming lives through education.
They are looking to recruit a Workforce Resource Manager to join their Academic Services Team, paying between £34,304 – £40,927 per annum dependent on experience, working a 37 hour week.
This role can be working from either Milton Keynes, Manchester or Nottingham offices and there could be some home working.
Student Recruitment & Fees (SRF) are often the first people that potential students talk to when they are thinking about OU study. SRF support the University in meeting student number targets by ensuring that students and enquirers have the information and advice they need to make the right study choices for them and are able to enrol and pay using their chosen method.
The role
The Workforce Resource Manager is responsible for the effective delivery of the operational plan to ensure that we offer a world class service to our students. Responsible for the development of intra-day reporting and mid-long-range planning for Student Recruitment and Fees Centres operating virtually across a number of locations, culminating in forecasting and FTE plans.
You will be responsible for maintaining the optimal FTE schedule design and profile to meet business needs and changing student profile, producing exceptional levels of efficiency, resource optimisation and workload management
You will also play a key role in supporting and challenging other areas of the business through effective communication and collective planning.
Skills and experience
Do you have experience of managing a team of planning analysts in a complex organisation?
Can you work with complex planning assumptions and deliver effective resource plans to match demand and availability?
Do you have proven experience of working within a resource planning environment using resource planning software like Aspect eWFM, IEX total view?
Do you have effective influencing, negotiating and decision-making skills?If you can answer yes to these questions, then we would love to hear from you.
