Bletchley Park, a vibrant heritage attraction, open daily to visitors, revealing the secrets and telling fascinating stories of the secret British World War Two codebreaking operations are seeking a Visits Coordinator to join their team on a 6-12-month contract, covering maternity leave.

As a Visits Coordinator at Bletchley Park, your responsibilities will include:
Answering and dealing with all telephone enquiries.
Answering all email enquiries for events and bookings enquiries.
Supporting the Events and Bookings Manager to organise and deliver the Park’s public event programme.
Working efficiently and cooperatively with the two other Bookings Officers to ensure a smooth and complete service provisions.
Maintaining bookings schedule and update service partners of any changes e.g., Catering team, Maintenance team.
Supporting other areas and teams within Bletchley Park.
Acting as a positive ambassador for Bletchley Park Trust.
Providing excellent customer service in everything we do.
IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft 365.
At Bletchley Park, we are looking for a Visits Coordinator who has the following skills and experiences:
Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to assist others.
A structured and organised manner to approach varying workloads.
The ability to work under pressure.
Experience in answering telephone enquiries.
A good team player.
An organised and methodical approach to paperwork and emails.
Good literacy and numeracy skills.
IT skills including MS Word, Excel, and Google Apps.
Experience of managing varying workloads.
Ability to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
Experience in face-to-face dealing with customers.
A knowledge of and interest in the Bletchley Park story and a willingness to promote the Trust’s Mission.
You will be working 37.5 hours per week, usually Sunday-Thursday with a 30-minute lunch break. Occasionally some early evenings or weekends may be required which will be recompensed by time in lieu.
In return, the Visits Coordinator will receive a salary of £20,000 per annum plus 33 days holiday (including bank holidays), a company pension scheme and a BUPA wellbeing cash plan.
