Service Delivery Manager – Milton Keynes – £33,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Delivery Manager to join a well-established team in Milton Keynes.
You will be responsible for managing client relationships, acting as the main interface between the customer and the business to ensure they are pleased with every aspect of the service provided and ensuring that service level agreements are met.
As Service Delivery Manager, some of your duties will include:
Maintain Service Levels and all contracted Key Performance Indicators.
Support the Service Desk in problem resolution.
Organise and chair regular service reviews to discuss performance achievements and issues, and changes to scope of service.
Preparation of service reports
Develop relationships and communication with stakeholders, customers and key users.
Manage any changes to contracts and services.
Ensure that improvement initiatives identified in service reviews are acted upon and progress reports are provided to customers.
Manage the contractual obligations that are delivered to the customer.
Oversee billing, ensuring that bills and invoices are accurate.
Provide Service Desk and internal teams with all the necessary customer information to ensure customer service levels are maintained
Skills and experience
Superb customer service skills – managing expectations, communications and dealing with problems
Excellent attention to detail and able to prioritise
Great relationship building skills
Flexible and able to work in highly pressurised environment
Proficiency in MS office suite – especially Excel
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Problem-solver by aptitude
Achievement of goals by using influence – diplomacy
Experience of interfacing with customer and taking the lead in managing relationships
Previous work in an environment where there was a need to manage competing demands internally
Background in hi-tech or communications industry would be advantageous
