An opportunity has arisen for a Leak Detection Engineer to work with a leading restoration company, on a full time, permanent basis in the Northampton/Milton Keynes area.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing the best solution to all leak detection/trace, access and fix instructions in the most cost effective and profitable manner and carry out moisture surveys where needed.

Duties:

* Carry out adhoc projects as directed by the Leak Detection Manager.

* Carry out leak detection jobs covering all regions as required.

* Progressing outstanding estimates.

* Arranging meetings with prospective customers.

* Attending seminars and visits.

* Ensure IT system is completed correctly, in line with quality procedures.

* Help Technicians with technical problems regarding leak detection and provide coaching where necessary.

* Together with Leak Detection Manager – turnover and profit.

* Ensuring the equipment is serviced correctly in line with quality procedures.

* Purchasing requirements.

* Attending meetings as directed by the Leak Detection Manager.

* Liaising with customers.

* Assisting with project design.

* Development of new techniques together with the Leak Detection Manager.

* Ensuring Company and quality procedures are adhered to by the Restoration Technicians.

* Moisture surveys and writing technical reports.

* Calibration and repair work to all Leak Detection equipment.

* Trace & Access and fix of hidden pipe work.

Candidate Criteria:

* Full UK driving licence

* Basic plumbing skills

* IT literate

* Strong customer service
