It is an exciting time to join the MERKUR Casino UK team as the business plans a rapid expansion programme. MERKUR Casino UK currently operates over 180 MERKUR Slots Adult Gaming Centres, 3 Family Entertainment Centres and 3 MERKUR Bingo Clubs throughout the UK.
Due to our expansion we have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Systems Analyst to join us.
This role will support the Head of IT in systems problem analysis, report development, liaison with contractors and third party suppliers, system testing, documentation and end-user training as necessary.
Working as an IT Systems Analyst you will be required to:

* Work with diverse business clients, particularly from Finance and Operations to support their IT applications and assist in improving business processes and exploiting opportunities
* Support the business systems and help to deliver projects to specification, time and budget
* Work as part of the IT team to liaise with the business to develop enhancements to key applications
* Investigate IT processes to identify and suggest areas for improvement
* Manage small to medium size IT projects involving the implementation or enhancements to existing systems
* Communicate regularly with the business and take the lead in business case evaluation, project estimating, functional specifications and business process design
* Create, supervise and document test schedules
* Supporting users on change control and system updates
To work for us as an IT Systems Analyst you will:

* Be degree qualified
* Have comprehensive and extensive functional knowledge of business processes and reporting systems
* Possess excellent technical skills within application areas ideally SAP or other ERP systems
* Have working knowledge of SAP BW/Business Objects would be an advantage
* Have proven track record of delivering business requirements, business process design and functional design of IT enabled change projects
* Have good project management skills as team member and leader and be able to demonstrate a high level of business knowledge, and strong analytical skills
* Have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data and arguments in a way that is accessible to everyone
* Have a tenacious approach with focus and determination to get the job done effectively, overcoming any difficulties that may be encountered
* Be able to work under own initiative and have the willingness to learn new skills on the fly when required
* Have a dedicated drive for end results.
