Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be the end to end management of customer installations.
This includes:
· Working with design and construction teams to ensure accurate property information is available to drive scheduling.
· Scheduling installations with customers, optimising engineer utilisation and customer service.
· Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard.
· Management of escalations and operational issues.
· Ensuring the installations team can meet demand in a growing business.
This will be achieved by:
· Establish the Service Culture Swish Way (Customer Service)
· Lean Champion driving change through the team
· Establishing a culture of continuous improvement
· Ensuring processes are in place to capture improvement opportunities.
· Implementing, updating and embedding standardised processes.
· Ensuring that processes are followed and understanding the reasons when they are not.
· Root cause analysis of problems and incidents.
· New Technology development and new ways of working
· Resource Planning to meet the business plan.
· Recruitment, Training and ongoing development of the team.
· Materials forecasting
· Building and managing good relationships with suppliers
· KPI management
· Escalation Management
· Budgeting
· Day to day financial admin
· Managing the productivity of the team
· Understanding and management of cost per Install
Requirements:
Core Skills:
Experience of leading telecoms installation engineer teams
Understanding of Fibre Technologies and installation techniques.
Extensive managerial experience (People and Operational)
Experience of managing rapid growth in field teams
Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
Highly competent at using IT systems to manage operations and support decision making.
Proactive and has a solution mindset
A sound knowledge of Health and Safety and ideally within a StreetWorks Environment
Ability to remote manage teams across different regions
Desirable Skills
Experience of Salesforce Field Service or similar scheduling tools.
Experience of managing installations in Multiple Dwelling Units
