JOB TITLE: Customer Service Specialist
LOCATION: Milton Keynes, UK
Contract: 12 months (Maternity Cover)
GPS have an exciting 12 month contract available for an experienced customer service specialist to be the main point of contact for international / retail / web customers via phone, e-mail. You will also be experienced in creating and compiling orders that come in from the sales network and creating Sales Order Acknowledgment’s
Key Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for international customer queries
* Answer queries or pass on to the appropriate department
* Contact web customers as required
* Receive orders from the sales network team
* Collate information from above orders and process onto the blue cherry system
* Liaise with the sales manager and operations manager in the ordering of stock process
* Double check quantity ordered matches original order
* Create and send sales orders to customers confirming quantities ordered, pricing per garment and embroidery instructions
Desired Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a customer service role is essential
* Advanced MS Office skills – emails, excel, word
* Ability to communicate in a professional manner with managers & clients
* Fluent English (both written & oral)
* Excellent telephone manner
* Attention to detail is a must
* Confident to speak to a wide range of customers
