Ascendant Recruitment are excited to be recruiting for a Customer Service Supervisor for our client based in Milton Keynes. The Customer Service Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Customer Service Manager to oversee the effective day to day management of the Customer Service Team.

Key Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the Customer Service Manager to oversee the effective day to day management of the Customer Service Operation.
Carry out induction of new recruits, develop ongoing training plans for all the team members and review effectiveness of training.
Proactively identify and implement order process improvements.
Carry out monthly evaluations of telephone calls on all team members to ensure call standards are delivered and high level of customer service in maintained.
Conduct monthly reviews and annual appraisals with the customer service team members.
Monitor and evaluate personal performance to individuals in line with the departmental KPI's and personal development plan, to help the Company to meet its overall turnover.
Ensure workload of Sales Correspondents is evenly distributed to ensure the department is working efficiently for both the office and homeworkers.
To ensure all telephone and email messages received into the department are dealt with in a timely manner.
To ensure all customer complaints are handled in a professional manner.
Other duties assigned by the Customer Service ManagerExperience and knowledge

Experience working in a customer service environment (dealing with volume phone calls and order processing) and managing a team.
Good level of knowledge of understanding how Customer Service operates
Attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills in person via the telephone and in writing
Strong self- motivator, with the ability to work well independently and with others in a team environment.
