About the role
Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit Customer Service Consultants to join our Training and Apprenticeships business. In this role you will generate leads and recruit learners onto Work Based Learning programmes, including enrolment and to promote government funded training schemes and commercial opportunities, across the Automotive sector.
You will be conducting calls with applicants and interested parties to our client's apprenticeship schemes. Babcock manage apprenticeship schemes for the likes of Volkswagen, BMW and others – you will support the recruitment and on-boarding of potential learners into apprenticeship roles with the client organisations.
This is a home based role, allowing you to have a great work-life balance working remotely. All required IT equipment and on the job training provided.
Your duties will include:
Proactively identify and engage potential learners for registered vacancies
To ensure delivery of contracted starts in line with targets, ensuring targeted completion rate can be achieved.
Instigate and develop strong relationships with schools and careers offices in order to maximize candidate generation.
Offer advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression.
Ensure Maytas, Etrack MIS and learner management system is up to date and fully utilised for all leads.
Update and complete employer/learner related paper work within required timescale.
Respond to enquiries from employers within 24 hours.
Liaise with Careers service/ConneXions/Employment services to promote available vacancies and source potential candidates.
Pre vet learners for programmes, identifying any special learning needs through the completion of the company recognised initial assessment.
To respond proactively to any national marketing campaign, including schools.
What do I need to do the role?
You will have experience in a similar phone-based customer service, sales or recruitment role.
With the following attributes:
Empathy with young people and desire to assist them achieve their career and learning aspirations
Great communication skills with an enthusiastic and friendly telephone manner
Focused on delivering objectives and targets
Self-motivated and works well independently, as well as part of a team
Microsoft office skills including the use of outlook, word and excel
What else do I need to know?
The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
