Customer Service Assistants/ Stewards

Job Type: Temporary, ongoing, Ad-Hoc

Full Time/ Part Time: 10am to 4pm, including weekends

Location: Central Milton Keynes: Shopping Centre

Salary: £9.35ph

Responsibilities:
– Assist members of the public around the centre
– Ensuring the public adhere to the one way systems
– Asking able people to wear their masks
– Keeping an eye on social distancing
– Helping the public navigate the shopping centre
– Reporting any incidents or conflicts to the security team
– Attend and monitor designated area / doors
– Assist staff to place signage crowd barriers and Tensa barriers in position
– Using radio's to communicate with team and staff members

A Successful Candidate:
– Will be able to communicate with all members of the public
– Able to understand and communicate with excellent English
– Be happy and engaging to help customers with any queries
– Able to stand for long periods of time
– Able to communicate with staff members and management
– Able to navigate the shopping centre
– Have good rounded knowledge of Milton Keynes
– Background in customer service, face to face

Our client at Central Milton Keynes Shopping centre are looking for outgoing, friendly customer service stewards to help as the country is starting to come out of lockdown. They are in need for confident people to monitor the doors and ensure all shoppers are keeping safe and are getting the help that they deserve.

Gi Group are recruiting for a number of Stewards to join this well-known shopping centre, to provide the support our client is looking for. This position will be ongoing and Ad-Hoc during seasonal peak periods throughout the year based on estimated footfall and traffic.
