Customer Service Advisor – Events

We have an opportunity for an individual with Customer Service experience to join a fantastic, professional organisation that offers career progression and a great working environment in Central Milton Keynes.
The position is 37.5 hours per work working shifts between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday. Although this is not always the case, during peak time you must be available during these times.
Key responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor will include but are not limited to:
Take responsibility for incoming calls, emails and queries relating to central, regional and international events organised by the company or in conjunction with third parties.
Be confident to receive and respond to enquiries in other service centre areas at peak times or to provide scheduled cover.
Assist in planning, administering and booking of events.
Use CRM and other appropriate systems to record enquiries and keep events content information up to date.
Work with colleagues to deliver a consistent experience with regards to events planning, administration and support.
Work with colleagues to resolve issues relating to events, including refunds.
Support management reporting in relation to events bookings.
Ensure compliance to data security, data protection and data confidentiality policies.
Make outbound courtesy calls to contact individuals in relation to services.
Use data insights to evaluate team performance, improve efficiency and to drive new ideas to support users.
Specific duties will vary from time to time in line with the business needs.
Our Customer Service Advisor needs to have:
Ideally 12 months experience in a customer service position
Experience of managing multi-channel enquiries, phone, email, online chat and social media
Keen attention to detail ensuring high standard of written and verbal work
Exceptional customer service skills and experience
Good IT skills, including Word and Excel, and in maintaining a complex database including CRM
Organisational, planning and administrative skills
Confident and effective communication skills
Proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced environment
Experience in event co-ordination / organisation.
