Our client, is a public distance learning and Research University, and one of the biggest universities in the UK for undergraduate education.
They are looking to recruit a number of Student Recruitment & Support Advisors starting on Monday 14th June until 2nd October 2021 based in their Milton Keynes office. This role is full time, working 37 hours a week,
Paying £10.46ph, however after working 12 weeks at week 13 this increases to £11.09ph.
The role involves providing proactive support and information to enquirers and students on all aspects of registration and to subsequently reserve and register students, whilst adhering to service policy and practice. We also support students studying with us, by providing information and triaging queries to other departments within the university, where appropriate.
This role will be a home and office based role. Hours are currently 8:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday. There are no late's or Saturday shifts however this could change to flexible working hours within a range from 08:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturdays (working one Saturday in four on average, with a day off in the week). The role will involve significant telephone work over the coming months (including making a large number of outbound calls), email, webchat and other mediums as necessary from home and in the office environment. They also make use of computerised database systems to maintain customer, company and enquirer details
This role involves an initial 3 weeks full time training until Friday 2nd July 2021 and will be conducted online at home. You'll need to be either already comfortable with, or at least open to interacting with others via a webcam. Throughout training normal office hours will apply and no annual leave is allowed during this period.
