Our client is the UK's largest university, a world leader in flexible part-time education combining a mission to widen access to higher education with research excellence, transforming lives through education.
They are looking to recruit a Communications Project Manager to join their Academic Services Team, starting asap until 31 July 2022, paying between £17.83 – £21.27 per hour, which equates to £34,304 – £40,927 per annum, working a 37 hour working week, but they would consider 30 hours.
This role can be working from home (equipment will be provided) or hybrid working in the Milton Keynes Campus offices.
The post holder will focus on the continual improvement of the student support services focusing on those delivered digitally.
This includes:
Leading on change initiatives required to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our support service
Managing the analysis and design of service solutions to improve student support through the identification of problem and opportunities for support services
Developing partnerships across the university to create and evaluate potential changes to support services within quality standards, compliance and university strategy priorities.
Leading working groups and project teams comprised of staff from teams across the university to implement new services
Managing effective communication flow between project teams and key stakeholders in the University in relation to business changes that affect the student support services
Contributing to the planning and implementation of strategic innovation priorities related to our student support visionThis role will involve liaison between change projects, technical development staff, MarComs, specialist teams and our support service staff. The post holder will also play a vital role in the university to ensure an appropriate change approach is taken to project delivery across the portfolio of innovation activity in student support. This work will contribute to the improvement of student progress, attainment and retention.
