A growing insurance claims organisation who have exciting plans for the future and as such are now looking for people who want to join them on this journey.
They are currently recruiting for one of their claims teams and have openings for enthusiastic, professional and reliable professionals to join their growing organisation as Claims Technicians. You will need some form of office based experience, and have a good work ethic.
The Company encourage ongoing professional development and will support those individuals looking to progress their career within the insurance sector, in attaining Chartered Institute of Insurance qualifications.
Based on the Property Clams team you will be responsible for managing customer relations, taking inbound and outbound calls, handling Claims from notification due to work completion
This will involve liaising with a broad selection of insurers, building relationships with third parties such as Contractors, Surveyors and Legal Advisors, gathering customer details, recording information accurately on the company’s internal claim management system and providing customers with claim and repair updates
To be considered you will either need to have previous experience in a claims handling role for either a broker, insurer, law firm or claims management company. Or experience in a fast paced office environment, with a proactive and helpful approach to your work and your customers. Skills that are also sought are a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and a confident telephone manner
Those with the Cert CII certificate will be at a distinct advantage however full support will be given by this organisation to help you achieve this qualification.
In return there is a competitive basic salary depending on experience, pension scheme, bonuses and support for Cert CII qualification (which once completed will result in a £1000 p.a payrise).
Positions on offer, including salaries are:
Claims Technician £17,500 to £20,500
* Based in Aylesbury
* 40-hour week – contract will be 8am to 22.00pm Monday to Friday but they are open 8am to 6pm. Half an hour for lunch

* Payable every 6 months and is a point system which include attendance, compliments and obviously how the business succeeds. Average pay out twice a year is around £400/500

* They pay for people to become CERT CII and once qualified they will give you an extra £1000 on your salary

MAD (Making a Difference) Award – awarded monthly. All those receiving a MAD announcement in the month, for going above and beyond, are judged by the Senior Leader Team (SLT) and a winner announced – they receive a £25 All-4-One Gift Card. The MAD winner of the year (one of the monthly recipients) receives a £100 All-4-One Gift Card in December.
Christmas
Party – usually the Friday night immediately before Christmas – no partners – 3 course meal with wine and money behind the bar
Christmas Gift – £50 All-4-One Gift Card for all staff members
Christmas Raffle – they ensure everyone receives something from the collected booze, chocolates etc., which suppliers send in
Other Events
A night at Windsor Races – usually a Monday night, in summer when there is music entertainment – a coach is laid on to transport staff, the office closes early, partners are invited (partners are charged for – providing they turn up the cost is refunded to the individual)
The office has been set up to accommodate social distancing safety measures. Interviews will be conducted over the next few weeks as they look to start successful applicants ASAP
