Our prestigious award-winning client seeks a Care and Support Professional Practice Lead to join their highly successful team.
As a care specialist, you will be responsible for all social care and clinical related decisions and advice. You will be required to review and own all care-related processes and policies. You will be the central advisory point for all individuals and their advocates buying health and social care through our client’s programme.
The Care and Support Professional Practice Lead will offer the right level of advice and guidance. You will also be responsible for identifying and maintaining any statutory obligations you feel the company needs to meet in its role, and find innovative ways of meeting these, as well as updating your own professional knowledge.
Essential Skills:
The ideal will be registered with Social Work England, or have held Registered Manager status with the Care Quality Commission and have a degree or degree equivalent in social care (or related area) and you will have specific and demonstrable experience in :
* Assessing clients’ needs and risk assessing
* Organising support
* Making referrals to other services and agencies
* Working with individuals and family carers and other professionals in sometimes challenging circumstances
* Finding innovative solution to difficult problems
* Recording and record-keeping, attending regular meetings
* Working with people from a range of backgrounds
* Communicating effectively and influencing people from a range of professional backgrounds
The Person:
You must be personable, caring, deeply empathetic, yet commercial. You must interact calmly and reasonably at all times and you must demonstrate a personal desire to see people’s lives improve.
You will embrace technology and understand the value it adds in freeing up time for professionals to focus on knowledge and experience-based inputs. You must intuitively feel that human and technology interfaces can work and have an open mind to their deployment.
