Main duties and responsibilities:
Set up, oversee and manage from start to finish the client account, as per the deal agreed with Sales department.
* Obtain Client details and contact list and upload onto System.
* Send Ts and Cs of Business and Carriage to client for signature.
* Provide client with accurate and timely quotes for additional hire, moves, or any other production spend.
* On confirmation of bookings obtain client Purchase Orders based on Sales Agreements
* Acquire written approval of any bookings from client if purchase order unavailable at time of booking
* Act as main point of contact for all Production Accounts departments, establish good relations and deal swiftly and efficiently with any invoicing discrepancies or queries.
* Liaise with Logistics Planners regarding delivery / collection of equipment.
* Communicate effectively and efficiently with the client contacts to build and maintain relationship.
* Where necessary progress and chase overdue accounts.
* Liaise with HOD regarding daily usage for billing. Ensure any additional usage is then communicated to the client for a PO / confirmation.
* Provide feedback to Sales team on a weekly basis of how the project is going and the relationship with client. Report any potential issues and advise on overdue accounts
* Manage Sub-hire Bookings pre, during and post Project off hire and purchase orders.
* Update and maintain the client relationship management system, and advise sales team on leads on potential upcoming work obtained from the client.
Company & Legal Compliance Responsibilities
1. Always apply financial management and commercial awareness to ensure cost effective use of product, service crew and drivers
2. Ensure regular departmental and interdepartmental meetings are held to communicate effectively
3. Check legal status of vehicles prior to allocation
4. Up hold the Companies Health and Safety Policy
5. Carry out any other reasonable task required by the MET, which may arise from time to time and bring to the attention of the Managing Director any matter, personal or work related which could be detrimental to the company
