What are we looking for?
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Principal Certification Manager to join the DEKRA Certification explosion safety team. You will be an integral member of the team with the opportunity to work in an exciting and rapidly growing, global organisation.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As the Principal Certification Manager, you will be responsible for the review, coordination and maintenance of the certification process.
Your role will involve:
* Perform certification decisions, as required
* Perform application review, as required
* Review and monitor the certification process, certification managers
* Review and monitor application review process
* Provide reports on application review including accepted and rejected applications; reasons for rejection
* Provide reports of certificate decisions, including suspensions, withdrawals and reinstatements
* Resolve conflict situations between certification managers and auditor/Project Manager
* Approve all sales and marketing materials
* Manage safety notices, vigilance and safety issues
* Communicate with designating/accreditation authorities
* Oversee communications to customers relating to changes, including changes in designation status and changes in certificate validity
* Resolving complaints / appeals relating to certification
* Participating in management review
* Supporting the QA/RA Manager with quality activities
About You
We are looking for people who can demonstrate:
* Educated to a degree level
* Extensive experience within a notified body
* Proven experience in explosion safety certification decisions
* Experience managing certification process implementations and reviews
* Excellent team management skills
* Exceptional communication and organisation skills with an eye for detail
* Good communication and organisational skills with an eye for detail
* Experience in other certificate decision processes desirable
* Possess knowledge of QA and ISO standards – highly desirable
* Proactive, responsive and inquisitive – constantly looking for ways to improve
* Strives to produce their best work which is “right first time”
