A senior and visible Head of Retail Efficiency role with great career growth prospects heading up a fast growing and pivotal function with a multi-national retail solutions provider. BASIC SALARY: £70,000 – £75,000

JOB DESCRIPTION: Head of Retail Efficiency – Retail Space, Operations, Insights, Improvement and  Analysis – Multinational Retail Solution Provider.
 
· This is an expansion role, part of a very visible and increasingly crucial part of my client's commercial and sales / business development functions.
· It involves gaining insights and data from a very wide variety of sources including specialist retail space analysts and retail efficiency and insights consultancies and experts, trend analysts, business intelligence amongst others, and from the insights from the retailers themselves.
· These insights and information are used to predict future trends enabling my client to pro actively come up with new ideas and solutions for their retail clients  in response to a perceived need or quite often a trend that they didn't know about, as opposed to just reactively, transactionally "fitting out their shops."
· These insights will be shared with Country Sales Directors and Account Managers as part of their  KPIs, objectives and account strategies helping them increase opportunities with the retailer, increase efficiency when pitching, cultivate a strategic relationship and raise the level of contact with them.  
· The role will involve a lot of contact and liaison internally with internally, but also with Partners and retail clients, often involving presenting to groups of people/ workshops in which you will be looking to "bring data to life" for them.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Head of Retail Efficiency – Retail Space, Operations, Insights, Improvement and  Analysis – Multinational Retail Solution Provider.
 
· To be considered for this potentially career defining role you will need to have an excellent knowledge of retail operations, consumer and shopper insights and behaviours which will probably come from having a senior/ strategic operational role at a retailer.
· Or you could be in a similar role with a service, consultancy or solution provider to retail. You will be very numerate and be able to interpret and analyse data,
· You will also be a polished confident and credible presenter. We are looking for someone with excellent analytical skills but confident and able to present to groups of people.

My client is a multinational group with operations in over 25 countries, over 3,000 employees and a £600m annual turnover. The UK operation has a turnover circa £100m over 200 staff with a good sized Account Manager/ Customer Relationship / Sales team.  Their client list is a "who's who" of retailers across major multiple grocery, fashion, department stores, convenience, consumer electronics, home improvement/ DIY, cafes, restaurants, health & beauty, pharmacy and automotive. They are a byword for innovation and quality in their market.
