Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a highly regarded Town Planning Consultancy in Milton Keynes on the appointment of a Graduate Town Planner.

This position would suit a Graduate Planner who has completed work experience/year in industry as part of your degree, and are keen to progress through your APC in a supportive environment.

You will join the existing, well-balanced and experienced team and assist on an exciting and challenging range of projects typically in the Residential, Commercial, Education, Retail & Mixed-Use sectors.

Key duties include:

-Produce clear, well researched and structured pieces of work based on sound understanding of policy.

-Assist in the preparation of planning applications, development appraisals, development plan representations, briefing material and research

-Preparing design and access statements to support all planning applications as well as other planning documents all in accordance with project deadlines.

-Attending meetings on site with clients and local authority contacts, in order to fully appreciate the project needs.

-Offering professional advice to the Client both verbally and also in writing working closely with other divisions of the business.

Recent examples of projects include Primary Schools, Conference Centres, Hotels, Sports Clubs, Business Parks, Bespoke Houses to large Residential schemes.
