The Role – Compliance Specialist, Healthcare & Medical Devices
The Compliance Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, documenting and reporting on anti-corruption compliance issues within this organisation, by implementing HQ Corporate policies and processes.
Provide guidance on the Compliance processes at local level.
This position requires frequent interaction with the department heads and key personnel of the Direct relation with Global Compliance.
Provide support to the General Manager on Anti-corruption Compliance matters, contact with local legal advisors, when applicable.
Full responsibilities include:
Acting as a single point of contact for compliance review processes, enabling an efficient communication between department employees and Global Compliance staff.
Ensuring that all compliance requests contain the necessary information before submission, including the selection of the appropriate and up-to-date templates for the compliance memos.

Submitting requests to Global Compliance designated staff.
Reporting to Global Compliance staff any substantial deviation identified after the compliance review.
Ensuring that all recommendations issued by Global Compliance are noted by the requestors.
Filing the official records resulting from the execution of the Compliance review processes, as required by the Global Compliance procedures.
Coordinating with local Accounting Manager to ensure that disbursements to covered individuals under Anticorruption Policies are properly referenced to Compliance clearances and are within the estimates included in the approved compliance memos or reviews.
Update on internal policies and procedures according to the existing regulations and in alignment with Global Compliance policies and procedures.
Work with local business units to ensure implementation of the compliance programs. Provide training and support.
Monitor interactions submitted to compliance processes and ensure accurate recordkeeping of relevant documents in accordance with Corporate policies.
Act as Due Diligence Coordinator, collaborating in the third-party due diligence process in accordance with defined procedure.
Coordinate communications and training for general awareness on compliance, processes and procedures.
Coordination, collection and review of data for transparency reporting.
Compliance representative of the company in the local industry association, where applicable.
Act as local point of contact for Data Protection and Privacy issues, liaising with the Global DPO.
Act as local point of contact regarding the Modern Slavery Act, ensuring the annual statement is kept up to date.
Your Background – Compliance Specialist, Healthcare & Medical Devices
To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate a competent background in a compliance based role.
