Main Objective: To provide general labour and maintenance support within a busy joinery workshop environment, which will involve lifting / handling large and/or awkward loads and sometimes driving.

Key Responsibilities:

* Keep machine and equipment areas clean and tidy.

* Empty dust extractors.

* Maintain a safe working environment through observation and reporting potential hazards to Management.

* Ensure fire escape routes are kept clear and free from obstruction.

* Pick up supplies from suppliers where required.

* Sanitise communal touchpoints daily, so machine buttons, door handles.

* Assist Workshop Assistants and Cabinet Makers to wrap and pack items, ready to go to site to be installed.

* Pack and dispose rubbish in recycling bins and keep loading bay free from obstruction, working in line with company environmental policy.

* *Occasional delivery of samples/items/tools to fitters on site location, with use of a company vehicle.

Personal Attributes:

* Reliable, physically able and willing to carry heavy and/or awkward loads.

* Friendly and happy to assist other departments in the workshop where necessary.

Requirements:

* Good level of spoken and written English Language is essential

* Physically able to stand for long periods and Manual handling essential

* *Full Clean UK Driving License is desirable

* Forklift license is beneficial.
