GBR Recruitment are working in sole partnership with a well-established progressive relocatable structures / bulk storage building / temporary & semi permanent structures business, recruiting for an experienced 360-degree Sales Management professional to effectively drive sales & annual profit levels, by effectively carrying out all Sales activity & delivering tangible end results / market growth.

You will be a tenacious sales professional who is used to carrying out a high level of sales calls (cold / warm leads & repeat using clients), sales meetings & delivery of sales presentations, completing tenders & bids (private & public sector), marketing of the company’s storage solutions, attending exhibitions & trade shows, assisting with the implementation & development of CRM systems (market intelligence; consumers & competitor knowledge).
The company offers a full turnkey service including; design, planning, wall panel & roofing manufacturing & installation, groundworks & site preparation, electrics & maintenance / repair services.
Ideally you will come from a relocatable structures, semi-permanent structures, temporary structures or permanent structures background, providing bespoke storage solutions to varying industry sectors & end users including; Industrial, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Recycling & Waste, Aggregates, Building & Construction, Agricultural, Plant Machinery, Utilities & Civils, Local Authorities & Councils or others using relocatable / semi-permanent storage structures.
Other relevant experience could come from Construction & Built environment solutions or another form of solution selling
Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:
* Carrying out 360-degree Sales & Marketing activity to deliver tangible end results
* Acting pro-active with systematic cold/warm calls
* Improving internal sales databases & market / competitor intelligence
* Completing tenders & bids for public sector & private sector contracts
* Monitors results / KPI’s & reports on successes & failures
* Producing effective marketing techniques, to deliver successful sales campaigns.
* Establishes sales objectives by forecasting & developing annual sales targets & projecting expected sales volume & profit for new client wins / project deliveries.
* Using & updating the companies CRM system / database (Salesforce or similar)
* Maintains sales volume, product / sector mix, & selling price by keeping current with supply & demand, changing trends, economic indicators, & competitors.
* Establishes & adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition & supply v’s demand. (Manages the pricing calculator.)
* Carries out site surveys & investigations / validation, advising the end using customer of works required plus processes to be completed at each stage of the project.
* Maintains professional & technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, & participating in professional societies & networking groups.
* Deliver annual revenue of c.£1M – £2 Million in year 1 (high level spend solutions c.£50K – £250K per storage solution)
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience as a Construction Sales Manager / Director ideally within relocatable bulk storage solutions / semi-permanent, permanent storage or temporary structures or similar
* Multi industry sector experienced across Industrial, Warehousing, Recycling etc.
* Strong negotiation & communication skills over the telephone, face to face & via email
* A sales professional (develop a sales strategy & carry out 360-degree sales activity)
* Experience using CRM & Sales pipeline systems (Salesforce etc.)
