About The Role
The primary focus of this role is to work with the business to facilitate training delivery and training interventions across EKFB’s allocated delivery area. We are searching for a self-assured, fully engaged and enthusiastic facilitator to promote EKFB’s visions, values and cultures.
The position reports to the Training and On-Boarding Manager. The role will require mobility, as a minimum, across the allocated Delivery Area and may be required to access other Delivery Areas across the wider project.
You will need to deliver inspiring inductions and learning solutions that have our customers as the primary focus and which in turn will impact positively on our customers’ experience within EKFB. Planning and delivery is required of both inductions and Site-Based training solutions, ensuring any service level agreements are met. You’ll need to ensure that all pre-training / preparation activity is completed prior to commencement of sessions, in line with quality standards and SLA’s. You’ll need to make sure learning site locations are appropriately prepared and are conducive with safe and effective learning environments.
We need you to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders across EKFB to ensure quality delivery of a consistent learning approach. Identifying and sharing good delivery, facilitation and assessment practices and advancements that can be applied to learning activities across EKFB is essential
We require you to lead by example in delivery, facilitation and assessment methods, in particular, to promote a culture where learners are treated fairly and have equal and appropriate access to learning. We also require you to review learning evaluations and act on feedback to support continuous improvement of delivery and facilitation in terms of learner experience, satisfaction and engagement.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Self-motivated to achieve and deliver to tight deadlines and to a high standard in a demanding and changing environment.
Effective networking, relationship building and written / verbal communication skills.
Proven experience of delivering and facilitating learning solutions, ideally from a construction background but not essential
Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage all aspects of Safety, Health & Wellbeing across the learning environment.
Ability to manage large group learning experiences and smaller interventions.
Ability to influence and communicate with a broad range of stakeholders, across all levels of the business.
Strong underpinning knowledge of learning delivery methodology
Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience of SharePoint and other software used for reporting etc. is desirable.
Experienced working in the construction, civil engineering or infrastructure industry required

All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
