Test and Installation Engineer needed for our client who have been supplying to the lift installation and service industry and construction industry for over 17 years, providing a quality and reliable service throughout the UK.

Based in Staffordshire they are conveniently located to service the United Kingdom construction sector a role has arisen to service the South East, M25 corridor. The lifting and handling equipment supplied can also be used in the manufacturing and service industry.

Their engineers are all fully qualified for the installation and testing of lifting equipment and have all been trained to comply with health and safety regulations. The main priority is to ensure the minimisation of accidents and incidents, so you can be sure that our staff and equipment are suitable and compliant.

In this role you will be joining our Lifting specialist team.

About the Role

From lifting beams, lifting eyes and manriding hoists, along with a dedicated installation and inspection and testing service our client offers a complete service.

As a Testing and Installation Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out on-site inspection, testing, certification and installation of lifting beams and lifting eyes and bespoke lifting devices as required.

You will recognise defective items, conduct the necessary rectifications effectively and restore or install the equipment to a safe working condition as required. You will also have the capability to organise, progress and carry out installations and have responsibility for testing of lift beams and lifting eyes.

A good communicator, you will compile and present reports to the customer, discuss your findings and also be confident in discussing all products and services offered by our client.

About You

Experienced working within a testing environment

Experience of using heavy lifting gear or with a strong mechanical engineering background

Have good communication skills and experience of working within a customer site

Good time management skills

Driving licence

Be a strong ambassador for the company

LEEA Qualification is essential
