Technician – Construction

Permanent

Buckinghamshire based – mobile role

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading highways service provider working with local authorities across the UK.

You will be responsible for supporting the construction team in the delivery of projects including drawings, reports, calculations and any other activities assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities:

To assist with the construction of a range of schemes
To assist with the preparation of drawings, reports and calculations for projects
Supporting the administration & delivery of projects
Ensuring Construction outputs meet the required standards
To ensure speedy and courteous responses to queries
Working as an integral member of a construction team
Contributing to providing solutions to challenging problems
Attend site for site surveys
You will be expected to attend progress meetings, public exhibitions and public inquiries
Understands the overall functions, aims and directions of Transport for Buckinghamshire, and how their specific area of responsibility fits into those objectives.

Key Requirements:

Minimum HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related subject
Good construction site experience
Experience working on roads/drainage projects
Good organisational skills
