My client is a medium sized developer who have gone through a restructuring to better cater to the needs of the business. Due to this they have identified multiple areas of development for the business, thus are looking to bring on board a Technical Manager to oversee multiple sites and potentially grow the team as the business grows.

Responsibilities:

Collate, distribute and file all drawings and information required for construction to all relevant parties
Ensure all information issued is compliant with current regulations and planning permission
Ensure all information has buildability and is the most economic build both in terms of time and cost
Ensure that all information from different consultants are compatible and there are no construction conflicts
Ensure all information is filed in the office and project vault is up to date and clearly filed and labelled
Liaise with local authorities and country councils and arrange production of all information relating to the completion of section agreements as instructed
Create and monitor budgets for all external consultants and report all findings to Head of Design and senior surveyors on a weekly basis
Place orders and make all necessary payments to external consultants in accordance with approval procedures
Ensure applications and payments of connections of all relevant services for site (both temp and perm) are completed and paid in good time for construction programmes. This is always to be done in conjunction with utilities coordinators
Ensure NHBC have all necessary information and payment to enable all relevant approvals to each construction stage. Update CML Tracker weekly to ensure all Technical Approvals and Tests are in place to enable CML certificates to be issued.
