Our client is a leading main contractor with an exciting opportunity for a Technical Assurance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis in Buckinghamshire.

The scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 5km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 67 overbridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation.

You'll be required to support the Design and Engineering Manager in managing and performing Technical Assurance, during the Design delivery stage.

You will be responsible for providing support to the Design and Engineering Manager to follow and implement the Assurance Regime in accordance with the Engineering and Assurance Plan.

In addition you will be implementing the technical assurance processes, considering statutory, regulatory, contractual and prudent industry best practice in managing the activities of the associated delivery.

It will be your responsibility to document and promote the use of assurance procedures by the Engineering and Assurance team and the Designers.

Confirming through review of self-certification activities and the subsequent provision of evidence that the technical assurance process has been progressed and complied satisfactorily by the Designer prior to submission to the Client.

Close liaison with the Design and Engineering Manager to develop a certification strategy to support the Works and provide guidance on the alignment of assurance deliverables with the Client's requirements. We would like you to support the delivery of the Design in accordance with the Programme. Facilitate Assurance & Certification training workshops with the Design and Engineering Team, and supply chain, as required.
