Sub-contract Buyer

Buckingham, Buckinghamshire

To £60k + Car or Allowance, Pension and Bonus

This great opportunity is with a leading Tier 1 main contractor who have been established for over 50 years and turnover £250m+.

The projects are Nationwide and range in value from £10m to £100m+ across the Commercial, Industrial and Leisure sectors.

As Subcontract Buyer, you will be joining a professional and friendly team at the head office in Buckingham and will be working as a key part of the Pre-construction Team. You will be working closely with the Pre-con team and the Supply Chain where you will be negotiating and procuring major subcontract packages from Groundworks, Reinforced Concrete, Steel, M&E, Cladding / Facades, Dry Lining and other key packages with values of up to £20m on each package.

For this role, you will have experience of working with a Main Contractor procuring the key subcontract packages and will also ideally have dealt and negotiated with the Supply Chain.
