Site Manager – Site based across Bucks, Herts, Northants and Beds. – up to £50K

We are actively looking to recruit a Site Manager with a desire to progress in their career who has a proven track record in delivering projects within Drylining and Ceilings. You must eager to learn, ready to grow, and have a thirst for learning new skills.

Our client is a busy, established interiors specialist with an impressive pipeline of work. They are ISO-Certified and a leading provider of bespoke plastering, wall panelling, ceiling and dry-lining solutions. With over 10 years of experience they have earned a reputation of being one of the most trusted names in the UK’s interior solutions space.

Responsibilities

* Follow set project instructions/drawings and deliver within the set and agreed timescales.

* Supervising a team on site and is not afraid to give direction and highlight issues as they arise.

* Must take responsibility in showing others how to do the job properly, and to lead by example.

* Use initiative to crack on with work and to pick up their own materials if necessary.

* Strictly following risk assessments that have been provided for the project.

* Interacting with Client on a day-to-day basis in a friendly and professional manner.

* Proactively maintaining the quality and compliance standards set out for the project.

* Conducting site inductions, providing daily briefings and weekly site supervisions.

* Completing forms and documents – e.g. toolbox talks, construction site logs etc.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

* Minimum of a year’s worth of experience as a Contract or Project Manager or Senior Site Manager.

* CSCS Gold or Black Card.

* SSSTS or SMSTS.

* Strong Health & Safety approach.

* The ideal candidate must have the ability to manage and lead large scale projects.

* Excellent communication skills are a must, both written and oral.

* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work within a strict deadline environment.

* Fluent English speaking.

* Full and valid UK driving licence.

* Pro-active and have a hands on approach.

* Forward thinking / problem solving
