The client is looking for a Service Engineer to start ASAP.
The Client
Has a worldwide presence and has been established over 50 years. With now over 2000 employees, they have gone from strength to strength. Projects vary from commercial fit outs- to data centres up to £50+ and as a result of the company’s growth plans, they are now looking for an additional Service Engineer to join the team
They are looking for someone that can:
* Is able to complete the necessary completion certificates for handover to client and carry out witness testing and associated documentation as required.
* Interconnection/Testing/Commissioning of LV Switchgear
* Control hazards to health to prevent work related ill health;
* Keep pace with change to identify and tackle new risk management challenges;
* Ensure method statements are understood, acknowledged and followed;
* Ensure the safety and welfare of other people who may be affected by the works in hand;
* Ensure PPE is used correctly and is in good condition;
* Ensure work equipment is used correctly and is in good working order;
* Ensure work at height is carried out correctly and safely;
This will suit someone that is able to work under deadlines and work in a pressurised environment. Ideally the company would like someone that already has a preferably an Electrician, with proven knowledge and experience in LV Switchgear but not a necessity as full internal training will be provided.
The ideal candidate must have:
* A current SSSTS Certificate
* A current UKATA Asbestos Awareness Certificate
* A valid Manual Handling Awareness Certificate
* A current and relevant ESC Card
