Title: Senior Site Manager

Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car or allowance & excellent benefits

Sector:  Housing / Residential

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join the housing team of a national developer with a very strong reputation . You will be responsible for an exciting new development in Milton Keynes.  Experience of traditional build and apartment blocks would be highly advantageous. Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will ensure the provision of safe, efficient and cost effective works at all times, while maintaining the highest quality of work and customer service are delivered within the given time-scales.

The Role:

Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
Managing the day to day operation from foundation to completion, and the critical paths for labour, materials and plant, including material lead times
Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others 
About you:

Experience of working as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a high volume house builder.
Experience of Traditional Build and/or Apartment blocks
Be resilient and naturally motivated
Strong leader and communicator
Up to date knowledge of health and safety and building legislation
Valid CSCS card .
Valid SMSTS certificate
Valid First Aid certificate
